Yes - always. If the cost of a repair approaches or exceeds the cost of a reasonable replacement, or if the leather is damaged beyond a point where repair would produce an acceptable result, we will tell you that during the estimate stage. We have turned down jobs where the honest answer was "replacement makes more financial sense here." That is not good for our revenue in the short term, but it is the right thing to do, and clients who receive that honest answer tend to refer others to us more than clients who received an expensive repair they did not really need.

No appointment is needed for drop-in visits during business hours - Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM. Walk in, bring your piece, and we will assess it and give you a free estimate before you leave. The only exceptions: if you have a very large piece (a full sofa, a set of restaurant chairs, a saddle with extensive work needed), or a multi-piece corporate order - for those, a quick call or email ahead of time helps us set aside the right time for you.

For pieces being shipped, we photograph the finished item and share the image with you before packing, so you can see the result before it arrives. We never release a piece without your awareness that it is complete.
